On Friday, Feb. 28, former St. Charles West High School standout Josh Newell’s current college team, the Lindenwood Lions, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.
The game took place at Lou Brock Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.
The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Lou Brock Sports Complex against Illinois State Redbirds.
