St. Charles County Public Health – Confidence is High (90%) That a Winter Storm Will Bring Accumulating Snowfall to the Region Thursday

Confidence is high (90%) that a winter storm will bring accumulating snowfall to the region Thursday. Snow is likely to begin Thursday morning, but the end of the snowfall event is less certain. Confidence regarding snowfall amounts remains lower, but we’re likely to see at least minor impacts across much of the forecast area. Besides snowfall, strong northerly winds (gusts up to 40 to 50 mph) Thursday into Friday could cause blowing and drifting snow.
