On Friday, Feb. 14, former St. Charles High School standout Maddox Meier’s current college team, the William Jewell Cardinals, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions.
The game took place at Crowder Field. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at Talley Stadium against Upper Iowa Peacocks.
