88 percent of applicants to Lindenwood University were admitted for fall 2018

At Lindenwood University, 73 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Saint Charles enrolled 9,468 students in fall 2018, including 6,529 in undergraduate and 2,939 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

44 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 41 percent are residents of other states. 15 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (55 percent) and Black or African American (13 percent).

The school admitted 88 percent of the 3,416 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 35 percent enrolled.
