Cost of college went up for all students at Lindenwood University

Tuition and fees rose 3.8 percent for 2018-19 at Lindenwood University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Missouri students paid $17,600 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $640 more than the $16,960 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 930 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.7 million and 588 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.9 million.

Including all undergraduates (9,468), 5,758 students used grants or scholarships totaling $50.9 million, and 4,371 students took out $33.9 million in federal student loans.
