St. Charles County’s 58 coaches earned an average salary of $55,259 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the 10th highest average salary per county earned by coaches at Missouri post-secondary schools during 2022.

St. Charles County is home to two post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, Lindenwood University stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $62,335.

Male coaches of men's teams received $49,361 on average in St. Charles County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $50,406.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
