St. Charles home prices fall in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in St. Charles fell by $3,500 while total sales decreased by 5.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were 119 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 1.9% decrease over the $183,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 126 homes sold in St. Charles in May 2017.

The median sales tax in St. Charles for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,157, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
