St. Charles home prices rise in January 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2018 in St. Charles rose by $43,200 while total sales increased by 1.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2018, there were 68 homes sold, with a median sale price of $181,200 - a 31.3% increase over the $138,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 67 homes sold in St. Charles in January 2017.

The median sales tax in St. Charles for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,157, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for January 2018.
