St. Charles home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in St. Charles rose by $49,425 while total sales decreased by 22.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 118 homes sold, with a median sale price of $195,500 - a 33.8% increase over the $146,075 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 152 homes sold in St. Charles in July 2016.

The median sales tax in St. Charles for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,157, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for July 2017.
