St. Charles County Public Health - Updated COVID-19 Booster Doses

The St.CharlesCounty Department of Public Health is now scheduling appointments for eligible individuals to receive the recently authorized bivalent COVID booster vaccines. To schedule an appointment, visit sccmo.org/COVIDVaccine.

Bivalent boosters target two strains of the virus that causes COVID – the original strain and two of the Omicron variants (BA.4 and BA.5). Those who have completed their primary vaccination series or who received a booster dose at least two months prior are eligible.

When to get the updated booster At least 2 months after your last COVID-19 dose either a booster dose or your primary series. Who should get the updated booster Individuals age 12 and up are eligible for the updated Pfizer booster, and adults age 18 and up are eligible for the updated Moderna booster.
