The SCCPD Crimes Against Property Unit is currently investigating several reports of a construction scam by an alleged family-owned business that specializes in fence and deck repairs. According to the victims, the ‘contractors’ become uncommunicative and never complete work after accepting substantial down payments. This scam has occurred in O’Fallon, Foristell, and Wentzville.
